Free Stokvel Contribution Sheet (SA)
Stop guessing who paid from WhatsApp scroll. This free one-page contribution tracker gives South African stokvel and savings-club treasurers a clean Jan–Dec grid: member name, monthly columns, year-to-date total, and notes for arrears.
Print landscape A4, save as PDF, or type straight in the browser. No signup. No app. Faceless Plain Desk template.
What you get (free)
- Member name column
- Jan–Dec contribution cells (ZAR or ✓)
- YTD / running total column
- Notes for arrears, partials, EFT refs
- Header fields: club name, year, monthly amount, treasurer
What this freebie does not do
It will not hold member money, send payment reminders, replace a signed constitution, or act as insurance / NASASA filing. It is a records sheet only — same honest limit as every Plain Desk template.
When to upgrade to Stokvel OS (R199)
Stay free if you only need a year grid. Upgrade when the committee also asks for:
- Adaptable constitution wording
- A proper member register
- Fine / loan log outside the monthly grid
- Dedicated year-end payout sheet for Dec/Jan share-outs
That full treasurer pack is Plain Desk Stokvel OS — one-time download, Excel/Sheets friendly, no monthly SaaS.
How to use the free sheet in one meeting
- Open the tracker and fill club header fields.
- List every member currently in good standing.
- Backfill months already paid this year (or start clean from this month).
- Agree who edits the master (one treasurer) and where the PDF backup lives.
- If rules / fines / payout maths still live in chat — look at Stokvel OS next.
